Sensibly Seasoned 4 Bean Chili
Serves: 8-10
Ingredients:
1 tsp. Canola oil
1 tsp. Fresh jalapeño peppers, minced
2 tsp. Fresh garlic, minced
2 cup Vegetable juice cocktail, low sodium
1 can Glory Foods® Sensibly Seasoned™ Black Beans
1 can Glory Foods® Sensibly Seasoned™ Red Beans
1 can Glory Foods® Sensibly Seasoned™ Blackeye Peas
1 can Glory Foods® Sensibly Seasoned™ Pinto Beans
1 tsp. No-salt chili powder, or more to taste
1/2 tsp. Cumin, ground, or more to taste
1/4 tsp. Black pepper, ground
Directions
Place oil in a 3 to 4 quart saucepan. Turn on medium heat and add onions and jalapenos. Cook, stirring occasionally, until onions begin to soften.
Add garlic and cook until the onions soften and the garlic is starting to brown.
Stir in the spice and immediately add the vegetable juice cocktail.
Add all of the canned beans and stir until well mixed. Heat the chili until boiling.
Reduce heat until chili is just simmering. Simmer for 15 minutes and it is ready to serve.
