Slow Cooker Red Beans & Greens Soup

Servings: 4



  • 1 (14.5 oz.) can tomatoes, diced
  • 1 (15.5 oz.) can Glory Foods Seasoned New Orleans Style Red Beans
  • 1/2 cup white onion, diced
  • 3 cups low-sodium chicken broth or vegetable broth
  • 1 cup farro or barley
  • 1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp. Glory Foods Hot Sauce
  • black pepper
  • 1 cup Glory Foods Simply Seasoned Mixed Greens


Directions:

  1. Add all the ingredients to a slow cooker, except for the Glory Foods Simply Seasoned Mixed Greens and Seasoned New Orleans Style Red Beans.
  2. Cook on low for 6 hours.
  3. Add mixed greens and red beans to slow cooker broth, and cook an additional 30 minutes before serving.
