1 1/2 cup Chicken, cooked and diced 1/2" (or 2 raw chicken breasts, diced 3/4")
1 1/2 cup Smoked sausage, cooked and sliced 1/4" thick (approximately 1/2 pound)
1 stalk Celery, diced 1/4" (about 1/4 cup)
1 small Onion, diced 1/8" (about 1/4 cup)
1 cup Rice, uncooked
2 Tbsp. Glory Foods® Chicken Seasoned Cooking Base
2 cups Water
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix water, Glory Foods® Chicken Seasoned Cooking Base, carrots and celery in a 12" oven-proof skillet with a lid. Heat to a boil.
Stir in chicken, sausage and rice. Bring back to a boil.
Cover the skillet with a lid or aluminum foil. Bake in the oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and all of the liquid is absorbed.
Remove from the oven and fluff to prevent rice from overcooking.
