Residents of Nebraska, Oregon and Wisconsin Win Prizes in Glory Foods Social Media Photo Contest
May 17, 2012, Columbus, Ohio – Colleen Busch of Alliance, Neb. won $250 and a Deluxe Glory Foods Gift Basket in a Mother’s Day social photo media contest held at www.Facebook.com/gloryfoods. The prize package Busch received included Glory Foods collard greens, candied yams, string beans and red beans and rice and additional canned goods, as well as corn muffin mix and hot sauces.
Busch was among a diverse group of participants nationwide to upload one picture of his or her mother onto the Glory Foods Facebook page. Fans then voted on their favorite photographs. Rachel Mitchell, the second place winner from Portland, Ore., won a $100 cash card and Sean Shearon, the third place winner from Milwaukee, received one worth $50.
“Our Glory Foods Facebook family is important to us,” said Dan Charna, vice president of operations for Glory Foods. “They not only buy our products, but our customers – on a daily basis – also spread their enthusiasm about Glory Foods via social media. We are happy the photo contest provided yet another way for us to thank them for their spirited support.”
