Representatives of Glory Foods Inc. today announced NASCAR enthusiast, Stephenson Mario Harris, from Olivehurst, Calif., as the grand prize winner of the “Race To Feeding America” sweepstakes. He received two VIP access tickets to the 2013 Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, which was held on Sunday, May 26, 2013 in Charlotte, N.C.

Harris and his guest experienced the race up-close and personal, while also having the opportunity to meet NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Drivers David Ragan, #34, and David Gilliland, #38, both with Front Row Motorsports, and their pit crews.

“I’m so thrilled to have been selected as the winner of the Race to Feeding America Sweepstakes. My wife and I had an amazing trip and enjoyed the all-inclusive VIP access into the pits at the Coca-Cola 600 provided by Glory Foods and Front Row Motorsports,” said Harris.

Glory Foods launched the “Race To Feeding America” campaign in August 2012 with hopes to raise awareness about the millions of Americans who are struggling with hunger. NASCAR fans from all over the country contributed to this campaign by visiting where they were able to register to win two all-inclusive VIP access tickets to the 2013 Coca-Cola 600 in May at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

“We are thankful for all our NASCAR fans, like Harris, who have contributed to helping raise awareness for Feeding America,” said Dan Charna, vice president of operations for Glory Foods. “We are encouraged by the response from the entire NASCAR community and our customers. With them, we were able to help feed thousands who may not have otherwise had access to nourishing meals.”
