Apples are worth the Bite

Apples are autumn’s favored fruit, although they are good in every season.

Red delicious apples, for example, are sweet but bland and have a soft to mealy texture. They are popular for eating, but they are not candidates for pies like Pippin (Newton) and Rome apples.
