Quick Bean and Ham Soup
Serves 10  ( 1 Cup Servings)



1 tsp.           Canola oil 
1/2 Cup White onion, diced 1/4"
1/2 Cup Red pepper, diced 1/4"
1/2 Cup Green pepper, diced 1/4"
1 1/2 Cup
Cooked smoked ham, diced 1/4"
1/4 tsp. Ground black pepper
1 qt. Chicken broth, canned
2 14.5 oz. Cans Glory Foods Seasoned ® Great Northern Beans 




Directions:



1. Place the oil in a 2 quart saucepan. Add the onions, red and green peppers and ham to the  

saucepan.
2.  Turn on the heat to medium and saute the vegetables & ham for about 3 minutes. Add a little 

of the chicken stock and cook until the vegetables are softened.
3.  Add the black pepper.
4.  Add the beans and the remaining chicken broth to the pan. Heat until the soup is simmering.
5. Simmer the soup for 15 minutes. 
6.  Serve immediately.
