Fresh - Scalloped Turnips and Ham
Serves 6-8
1         16 oz. Bag
1/2       Cup

1          Cup
1/2       Cup
1          Tbl.

Glory Foods®Turnip Greens
Water

Cheddar Cheese Soup
Black Pepper, ground
Ham, 1/2" cubed, cooked
Cheddar Cheese, grated
Bread Crumbs

Place the Glory Foods®Turnip Greens into a 2 quart glass, round, microwave proof, casserole dish.

Add the water, soup, black pepper and ham. Cover and place in the microwave.

Cook on high for 10-12 minutes or until tender but firm.

Carefully remove the casserole dish from the microwave and top with the cheddar cheese and bread crumbs.

















Note: For a conventional cooking method, place the Glory Foods®Turnip Greens in a pot of cold water and boil until tender (approximately 20 minutes).  Drain the water and add the soup, black pepper, and ham to the turnip greens and heat thoroughly.  Transfer the prepared turinp greens to a serving dish and top with the cheddar cheese and bread crumbs.
