Directions |

Place the canola oil in a 4 quart pot and set over medium heat. Add onions and cook till soft. |

Add the sausage and cook till slightly brown. |
|

Remove the pot from heat, add the flour and mix well. |

4. |
Return pot to heat and add the chicken stock and disolve the flour completely. |

Bring to a boil and reduce the liquid by a third |
|

Add the cabbage and return to a boil, cover and cook till tender. |

Add apples and juice and heat the mixture thoroughly. Season with salt and pepper. |
