Seasoned Cooking Base - Chicken Smoked Sausage Casserole
Serves 5 (1 Cup Servings)
      
1 1/2         Cup             Cooked chicken diced 1/2" (Or, 2 Raw chicken breasts, diced, 3/4")
1 1/2         Cup             Cooked smoked sausage sliced 1/4" thick approximately 1/2 pound
1                stalk            Celery, diced 1/4" (about 1/4 cup )
1                Small          Onion, diced 1/8" (about 1/4 cup)
1                Cup             Parboiled rice, uncooked
2                Tbl.           Glory Foods® Seasoned Cooking Base, Chicken
2                 Cup             Water

                   Directions:
1.                Mix the water, cooking base, carrots and celery in a 12" oven proof skillet with a lid. 
                   Heat to a boil.
2.                Stir in the chicken, sausage and rice. Bring back to boiling.    
3.                Cover the skillet with a lid or aluminum foil. Bake in a 350°F oven for 35 - 40            
                    minutes or until the rice is cooked and all of the liquid is absorbed.  
4.                Remove from the oven and fluff to prevent the rice from overcooking.
