I am writing in response to the blessings God has given me. God has been so good to me. When I was 35 years old, I went to the hospital for a minor surgery on my tonsils. Shortly after the surgery, both of my lungs collapsed and I went in to a coma for a week. I didn't know what had happened, but my family said I had been through hell and back. I went "code blue" six different times. By the seventh time, the doctors told my Mom, "We don't know if she's going to make it". Through God's grace, I came back strong and healthy. I had to learn to walk all over and take it easy. But now, I can say, I've been completely healed. I now know what it's like to experience death and come back again. Shortly after I got out of the hospital, my Mom lost feeling in her legs and began falling and could no longer walk. My Mom has been through a lot in the last few years. From being such an active senior to being in a nursing home, but we still continue to praise and thank God for all his many blessings. God has been good to us! Even though this year has been really rough on us, we still look through the fog of life and see light ... and can still thank God for all his many blessings. Thank you.
