Triumphs of Glory Campaign Names Winner
Buffalo-area teacher receives grand prize from Glory Foods
Columbus, OH (April 25, 2007) – After a yearlong search, Karyn Rolling of Niagara Falls, New York has been named the winner of Glory Foods’ first Triumphs of Glory campaign. Rolling will receive an all expense paid cruise for two to the destination of her choice. Triumphs of Glory, which was designed to find inspiring stories of triumph in the face of adversity, received several hundred nomination essays. A winner in each of Glory Foods’ eight regions was selected and presented to a panel of celebrity judges, who then named Rolling the winner.
Karyn Rolling is a special education high school teacher in inner city Niagara Falls. Her nomination story details her experiences working with students, many of which “come to school each day with baggage that would bring down the strongest man”. Rolling is able to positively impact their lives, while learning and growing a great deal as a person herself.
