Southern-Style Foods Company Hires New Director of Marketing

Columbus, OH (April 28, 2008) – Glory Foods, the category leader in home-cooked, Southern-style heat-and-serve products, introduces Craig Johnson as the company’s new Director of Marketing. As Director of Marketing, Johnson will be responsible for creating and executing strategic marketing programs, including the development and management of Glory’s entire marketing plan.

Prior to joining Glory Foods, Johnson worked for Mission Foods where he was Brand Manager for the Mission Brand, covering products such as Tortillas, Tortilla Chips and Tostadas. Johnson managed 2008 national promotions, key retail account programs and the marketing strategy development for new product innovation.

Prior to Mission Foods, Johnson was Associate Brand Manager for Dr. Pepper and 7UP at Cadbury Schweppes in Plano, Texas. At Cadbury, Johnson was responsible for volume management, strategy development and promotional development. He also worked as Product Director at Ethicon-Endo Surgery in Blue Ash, Ohio.

Glory Foods manufactures and distributes a comprehensive line of traditional Southern-style food products to grocery stores nationwide. Glory Foods offers a full line of products including seasoned canned vegetables and side dishes, frozen savory entrées, and fresh-cut bagged vegetables.

Craig Johnson is a native of Tennessee. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee (Knoxville) and his MBA in Marketing from Clark Atlanta University.
