Yes, Glory Foods offers a Sensibly Seasoned line for our health-conscious consumer. The sodium content has been reduced by 50%, and this product does not contain any meat, yet Sensibly Seasoned still has the same great taste that you have come to know and love. Look for the American Heart Association heart check-mark.
Does Glory Foods use MSG in its products?
No, Glory Foods does not add MSG to any of our products.
How can I determine the expiration date of your canned vegetables?
Most of our products have the expiration date marked underneath the can code, however there are a few cans that have a coded date. In order to determine the expiration date,
please email us and include the can code. The code is a series of numbers and letters located on the top or bottom of the can lid.
We encourage you to speak with you grocery’s store manager and request more products. He/She needs to know that you are shopping for Glory Foods.

How do I determine if a particular product is gluten-free?
The following products contain wheat and barley flour: Golden Muffin Mix, Homestyle Corn Bread Mix, Seasoned Cooking Bases in chicken, beef and roasted vegetable. All of our other products are gluten-free.

By federal regulation, all ingredients are calculated by a specific formula and are required to be rounded up or down to the next whole number. Therefore, some products containing minute amounts of fat are, by regulation, rounded to zero and 0% fat when the nutrition label is developed.

What is natural smoked flavor?
Our natural smoked flavor is made from natural hickory wood that is electrically heated until it starts to burn. The smoke is funneled up a chimney and across a container of soybean oil. The soybean oil is neutral in flavor, so it absorbs the smoke flavor well. The end result is “natural smoked flavor.”

Why are Glory Foods black beans lighter in shade?
Glory Foods does not incorporate any artificial coloring in our black beans, therefore shades will vary.
